High Blood Pressure Medication, Keep Blood Pressure Normal

By : John Adison

Blood pressure is the force exerted by the blood against the walls of the arteries as the heart pushes the blood to circulate around the body. Among the most common disorder concerning blood pressure is hypertension or High Blood Pressure (HBP), a condition characterized by a blood pressure equal to or higher than 140/90 mmHg.

The blood pressure medication will begin to have an effect about one hour after you take it, and its effectiveness will peak between four and fifteen hours later, tapering off for the final eight hours. If you plan correctly it will be at its weakest while you are asleep.

You may not know that Altace medication is also known as Ramipril. The drug ought not to be taken by a sufferer of diabetes and live dysfunction due to the possible side effects that can occur with it. Additionally, patients who now or have had any kind of kidney disease, or who are currently on dialysis are recommended to not use Altace medication.

The so called ACE inhibitors, or common blood pressure drugs such as captopril (Capoten), enalapril (Vasotec), lisinopril (Zestril or Prinivil), may cause a chronic, dry, hacking cough. Some people taking these medications also report that their throat feels slightly raw and sensitive to touch. It can be especially noticeable when there’s some pressure on the throat, such as someone might experience when their throat is propped against a pillow at night.

Beta-Blockers - Beta-Blockers are used to reduce the amount of blood pressure flowing through the body, by slowing the heart rate down, it allows for an optimal flow of blood throughout the vessels. Examples: Sectral, Tenormin, Coreg, Lopressor, Toprol, Corgard, Inderal and Blocadren.

Hyperexol has changed the lives of millions of people around the world. Although other conventional medicines help in controlling high blood pressure, they do so only by delaying the disastrous affects of high blood pressure. Most of the prescription drugs such as Edecrin, Tektuma and Lasix, contain chemical ingredients that may cause potentially dangerous negative side effects. This is where Hyperexol scores over other prescription drugs.

Lotrel is an ACE inhibitor and calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels and facilitates better blood flow by widening the blood vessels. As an ACE inhibitor, Lotrel converts enzymes and works to reduce water retention. Blood pressure is also reduced with this medication. Because of side effects Lotrel is only used for hypertension when less redical methods are ineffective.

Sympathetic Nerve Inhibitors: There are sympathetic nerves that go from the brain to all parts of the body, including the arteries. The sympathetic nerves can cause a rise in blood pressure by constricting the arteries. Sympathetic nerve inhibitors reduce blood pressure by preventing these nerves from constricting blood vessels.

A calcium channel blocker: Due to this drug being used, calcium cannot go to both the heart and the blood vessel muscle cells. This allows the cells to stay relax and thus reduce the blood pressure.
